Who’s swinging the lumber? J.D. Martinez launches 20th home run off light tower

Breaking News J.D. Martinez continues to amaze fans at the plate. On Tuesday night, the slugger blasted his league-leading 20th homer of the year. The drive to left-center field came off the bat at 108.2 mph and went an estimated 431 feet before striking a light tower above the Green Monster.

Who’s swinging the lumber? Andrew Benintendi continues hot streak

Andrew Benintendi has continued his hot streak at the plate, putting up big numbers across the board over the past week. In the last seven games, Benintendi has hit .444, with nine RBIs, a 1.373 OPS, and two home runs that have helped the Sox go 5-2 this week.
